At the beginning of October, the students of 4A, 4B, 4CS and 4M were ready to immerse themselves in the English language through drama, music and photography, creative writing and sports and games. Read what they think about their English project week:
- Jerome was our main trainer for the entire week and guided us through the Photography workshop. He gave us great advice on how to improve our English writing and speaking skills.
- Our trainer brought a lot of humor and fun into our classroom. It was such a pleasure to work with him and he’s one of the reasons why the BIKU English week turned out to be a really amazing experience for our class.
- In our Drama workshop, our trainer Luke challenged us to create a Snickers commercial and act it out in front of a big audience consisting of 4B, 4CS, 4M, and several teachers as well. Luke’s kindness, his ability to never run out of ideas and his charismatic personality soon made him “a household name” at our school.
- In our Photography lessons we learned how to make short movies and properly film them. We had a fantastic time bringing our characters to life, which also helped us to improve our speaking skills. On the last day we enjoyed watching our own films. It was one of the highlights of this week!
- If you’d ask us, this project week was one of the funniest experiences we’ve ever had at this school. The trainers managed to make everyone feel comfortable and confident by creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Even though we laughed with our trainers so often, I’m convinced everyone was able to speak English much better by the end of the week.
