The students of 7ABC, accompanied by their English teachers Ms Schörkhuber and Ms Rohrhofer, spent an unforgettable week in the Scottish capital and historic marvel, Edinburgh.
The mornings were filled with engaging language workshops led by local actors and media people, who helped us improve our speaking skills in creative and interactive ways.
Afternoons and weekends were dedicated to exploring the beauty and culture of Scotland, from the vibrant city streets of Edinburgh to the breathtaking landscapes of the Highlands and the Fife Coastal Path.
We hiked up Ben Aan, wandered through ancient castles, crossed the Forth Bridges, and even enjoyed a scenic coastal walk from Anstruther to Crail. A visit to the Scottish Parliament and an energetic Scottish dance evening gave us greater insight into both the political and cultural life of the country.
Everyone showed immense interest in the tumultuous history of Scotland, visiting iconic sites such as Edinburgh Castle and Doune Castle, known from film and television. Evenings were spent with our host families, where we experienced Scottish hospitality and daily life firsthand.
All in all, the trip was more than just a language course. It was a true cultural immersion and a week full of memories none of us will forget anytime soon.
