The students of 8ABC went river rafting on the Vltava (Moldau) from Vyšší Brod to Rožmberk, accompanied by their captains Ms. Schörkhuber, Mr. Klausberger, and Ms. Rohrhofer. Blue skies, sunshine, and loads of fun!
Keeping the boats under control wasn’t easy when the entire crew fought over who should give the commands – and some lazy marines didn’t pull their weight! Over some refreshments on the riverbank shortly before reaching Český Krumlov, we attempted to sort out the “communication and rank misunderstandings.” But alas, that ship has long since sailed.
Krumlov is the second most visited town in the Czech Republic after Prague – and truly a sight to behold. A small town with an interesting history closely linked to Austria, it features an impressive castle, stunning architecture, and a charming town centre perfect for a leisurely stroll. We found that Krumlov is always worth a visit.
